Vote YES for FHS on Thursday, December 8!
While rising inflation and continued supply chain challenges have increased construction costs for the new FHS facility, the State has provided additional funds.
The December 8 referendum asks votes to approve a project budget increase. The additional State funds will both completely cover the requested budget increase and reduce the overall cost to the Town.
By Town law, a procedural vote by Farmington residents is required to accept this State money to increase the project budget. Unlike with a Town budget vote, however, there is no minimum voter turnout required to trigger an automatic approval of the referendum. It’s important that we get to the polls and vote YES to support FHS.
Please go to your regular polling location and vote YES on Thursday, December 8!
