The Building Committee has hosted presentations from the two architectural firms – with each firm presenting a conceptual design for Maintaining the Existing FHS, Renovating FHS as new, and Building a New FHS. For a quick comparison of all the conceptual designs, take a look at our review chart.
Comprehensive FHS was there – providing public comment, and recording and live-streaming the meetings. We encourage you to review the presentations and watch the videos to stay informed.
At their January 29 meeting, the FHS Building Committee voted unanimously to recommend a New Building with TSKP as architect. The Committee’s Recommendation Presentation provides an overview of the evaluation criteria it used and contains a scoring matrix of all six options.
The next step is for the FHS Building Committee to present the conceptual design options along with their recommendation to Town Council at a public meeting on Tuesday, February 4th at 7:00 PM in Town Council Chambers (ground floor of Town Hall). We’ll be there to live-stream the session, and if you are able to make it we encourage you to attend and help support this comprehensive solution by giving public comment.
